DISNEY ANIMATION
DISNEY ANIMATION CAREERS
My story with Disney began in 2016, when I was still a student at a graphic arts school in Tours, France. We were invited to a Disney Animation exhibition at Art Ludique in Paris, where I was the first to enter and the last to leave. That day, after seeing the exhibition, I knew I wanted to work at Walt Disney Animation Studios. (I still have the ticket, by the way.)
Seven years later, my dream came true when my adventure began in November 2023 as a Set Extension Artist at the Vancouver studio.
I love being part of a process of constant improvement and feeling supported by the fabulous teams and artists around us. Everyone is there to lift each other up and spread the magic of animation around the world.
I'm very proud of the films our studio creates, and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to paint backgrounds in the studio that pioneered animated film.
Versa was my first completed project at Walt Disney Animation Studios, and seeing my name appear for the first time in the credits of a Disney film was something special.
I think the best advice I can give you is to always be consistent in your work and disciplined so that you can continue to improve your skills. Don't get discouraged and persevere, but always remain open to feedback so that you can learn from other artists around you.
Treasure Planet stood out to me! One of my fondest childhood memories is watching Treasure Planet with my childhood friend while drawing, a friend who is still by my side 20 years later!
