Internship Program

Have you wondered how your skills and talents could translate into the world of Animation? Our internship program dives into the craft, technology and operations behind our animated films while developing your skills and connecting you to industry mentors. You'll learn what it means to be a part of a collaborative team and how your unique talents can grow within our studio. Find yourself immersed in hands-on projects and learning guided by our artists, technologists and production leaders.

Production
Internships

As an intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to work directly with a Disney Animation mentor as you explore all aspects of art, storytelling, and filmmaking. Your internship will also allow you to meet and collaborate with a talented group of students from around the globe and become part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on both individual and group projects.

  • Students who will be returning to school in the fall
  • 8, 12 weeks paid position
  • Timeframe: Summer

Technology
Internships

The Technology Internship is a 3-month experience challenging interns with specific projects related to our tools, applications and various areas of our pipeline. Under the guidance of a Disney Animation mentor, interns will take on projects with start dates that vary from Spring, Summer, and/or Fall of each year. A strong interest in animation and/or graphics, as well as skills in computer systems is helpful for the best experience.

  • Technology Undergraduate & Graduate Students
  • 12 weeks paid position
  • Timeframe: Spring, Summer, or Fall

Studio
Internships

As an intern with our studio teams, you'll gain valuable experience working in your area of study, directly with a Disney Animation mentor. You'll meet and work with people from all over the country and potentially the world, networking with leaders, taking part in personal and career development classes, and building your skills.
